Flush handle want push down(gets stuck( as a result ..the handle breaks(3rd time replaced)..not sure if it is flapper.because the flapper is the reason(to me) why the handle want push down..the flapper is not releasing it stuck like chuck..I have to physically pull the chain myself in the tank.. wat is the problem…other toilet works fine.

It’s rare that the flapper would be difficult to open. The problem is probably that some mechanism is binding or hitting another part when the flapper is opening or the chain is lifted. If this is not the case then the flapper is severely worn and should be replaced.

first time repair my toilet. After replacing flush valve and toilet connector, I noticed that the water is dipping out of toilet connector bolt ( the area between connector and facucet).

Can I apply the tinning flux on the perimeter area of tolet connector to stop the water?

I have a Jameco toilet and when I tried adjusting the ball, I caused a bigger problem. I tried to turn the plastic to loosen the arm and now the commode just wants to run continuously.
