Fasten and Trim Screening

Fasten Taut Screen to Wood Frame and Trim Screening

With the screen tight, you now fasten the screen to the frame.
  • Staple the screening to the frame every 2" all along the perimeter.
  • Trim the excess screen material with a utility knife.
  • Replace trim molding with small finishing nails or brads.
  • To prevent rusting of the nails, countersink the nails and putty over them.
