Picture Hook
The nailed picture hook is the most commonly used wall hanger due to it's ease of use. Simply place the hook flat against the wall and the nail naturally assumes a slanted position. Strike the nail with a hammer and the hook is installed.

TIP
The trick with these little guys is to make sure you locate the bottom of the hook at the proper location. Unlike just hitting a nail into a wall where you want the "hook", with these hangers the nail is fastened higher than the hook location you want.
