Nylon Toggle Anchor
These are probably my favorite types of anchors. Why? Because they are strong (50-75 pounds easily in 1/2" drywall), easy to install, inexpensive and you can remove the screw keeping the toggle intact. The latter can't be done with standard spring loaded toggles.

To use these toggles simply do the following:

  • Drill a pilot hole in the wall sized as per instructions on the package (depends on toggle size).
  • Fold the nylon wings together and insert into the hole.
  • Tap the toggle with a hammer until flush with the wall.
  • Insert the black plastic wing opening tool into the opening and tap with hammer until you hear and feel the nylon wings pop open. (Don't lose this tool).
  • Insert screw into hole and tighten fully.
