A Furnace is a piece of equipment used in the home to heat outside air and distribute it through ductwork throughout the home. A furnace may use natural gas, propane, oil or electricity as its fuel source in heating the air. The furnace should be maintained every year. The efficiency of a furnace is measured in a rating called AFUE.
