Floating Floor

Definition:
A Floating Floor is an engineered floor that is not mechanically or adhesively fastened to the subfloor and can be installed over existing floors such as concrete, vinyl, linoleum, wood and some low pile carpets. Floating floors can be made from wood, cork, linoleum or plastic laminate.
