Formaldehyde

Definition:
Formaldehyde is a high VOC preservative used in paint. It has many trade names under which it can hide on your paint can label. These include methylene oxide, methanol, formalin, formol, dimethyloldimethylhydantoin, methyl aldehyde and others.
