Low Flow Shower Head

Definition:
A low flow shower head is a water saving shower head typically rated at 2.5 gallons per minute (gpm) or less.

There are two types of low flow shower heads. The most common is the aerating shower head which mixes air with the water. The other is a non-aerating shower head which does not introduce air into the water stream.

Shower usage accounts for almost 25% of American water usage by individuals. Low flow shower heads provide a quality shower with good water pressure while reducing water consumption.
