Ripping Duct Tape Into Strips
Duct tape will be used to fasten the lenses to the eyeglass frame. It's easiest if you prepare for this step by readying the duct tape strips.
  • Rip a 6"-8" section of duct tape into strips about 3/8" wide. Rip the tape with a sharp motion and the duct tape will naturally rip into a nice even strip.
  • As you rip each section into a 3/8" wide strip, stick the end on the edge of the table you're working on and let the strips hang for easy reach.
