Apply First Bonding Strip of Duct Tape
The next step is to apply duct tape to the lens edge to hold the eyeglass frame.
- Take a strip of the duct tape and adhere it to the outside edge of the beveled plastic cup, about 3/4 of the way around.
- This is a little tricky as you do not want to press the tape onto the complete beveled edge of the lens, just the very outermost edge, leaving the tape loose over the beveled edge.
- This loose tape hovering over the beveled lens edge is where you will slide the frame into as described in the next step.
