Attaching Wire Frame to Lenses
This step involves a little finesse too, but it's really not hard. You just have to keep the tape from sticking to the lens edge until the wire frame is inserted underneath the tape strip.
  • Hold the tape up off the beveled edge of the lens little by little as you slide the wire frame under the tape
  • Position the wire frame until it is approximately in the center of the lens thickness
  • Work your way around each lens doing this
  • Don't worry about the covering all of the lens edge with tape at this time. You will cover all edges and reinforce this wire frame attachment later.
