Final Duct Tape Covering of Lens Edges
In this step you will trim out the lens edges.
  • Take a 3/8" wide strip of duct tape and starting at the nose piece, wrap the entire edge of the lens neatly so no exposed plastic is showing. Place this strip over the interim taping of the wire frame to the lens and over the plastic edge of the lens not attached to the wire frame.
  • Keep the tape taut as you wrap the edge. You want the tape tight.
  • The objective is to have one strip of duct tape covering the outside perimeter of the lens.
