Bend a Hook End of Temple Wire for Hinge
This step is pretty slick. I had to figure a way to easily attach the temple ear pieces to the eyeglass frame and came up with a very simple approach.
  • You will bend about 1/8" of the end of the temple wire to a right angle (90 degrees), direction is into the frame as if the ear piece were on your ear.
  • This will form the hooked end for the hinge attaching to the eyeglass frame.
  • Repeat for the second wire but make sure the right angle bend goes the opposite direction!
  • You want to end up with the two temple ear pieces with the hinge bends facing each other.
