Test Fit Temple Ear Pieces
The way the temple ear pieces are going to fasten to the eyeglass frame is by hooking onto the frame wire which wraps around the eyeglass lens. First, however, you need to test-fit the temple ear pieces you just cut.
  • Test-fit the temple ear piece by placing the hooked end over the eyeglass frame wire
  • A proper fit will AVOID having the end of the hooked wire touching the lens, but rather will have the temple wire setting on and just hooked over the eyeglass frame wire.
  • If the temple ear piece wire hooked end is too long, it will make the temple wire stand off too high. You want the temple wire to rest on the eyeglass wire with the hooked end not quite touching the lens edge.
  • If they are too long, trim the length as required.
