Compliment your eye protection with ear protection and make your own set of duct tape ear plugs. The perfect addition to any safety minded duct tape tool box, these easy to make ear plugs will help when you're spending a long time with power tools.
- Cut an 18" length of string. (Safety yellow string is great if you have any).
- Cut a 24" length of duct tape into three strips of approximately equal length
- Wrap the strips of duct tape around the end of the string until the plug is sized comfortably
- NOTE: You can also add a small piece of cotton in the center of the plug by the string end and wrap the duct tape around that too, but who has cotton balls in their shop?!
