Before the disposal is fastened in place attach the power cord to the unit:
- First remove electrical plate found on the bottom of the disposal unit.
- Using wire nuts, connect white wire from the disposal to the power cord white wire, black to black and green ground wire to green ground wire.
- Place the connected wires in the disposal electrical box and replace the electrical cover plate.
