These types of tub spouts are simple to remove. Just proceed as follows:
- Under the spout and at the rear, by where it attaches to the wall, you will see a small slot concealing an allen bolt.
- Using an allen wrench loosen the tub spout by turning the allen wrench clockwise (because the allen bolt it is upside down).
- Remove the tub spout.
